Many who remember the late Warwick City Solicitor John Earle, who died in May 2008, turned out Monday at Café Fresco in East Greenwich to support the fund established in John’s name to provide legal advocates for the victims of domestic violence. The fund is run by the Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center directed by John’s widow, Judy Earle. In 2016 alone, 1,984 victims of domestic violence were assisted in court with restraining orders, safety planning and referrals to EBCC’s other programs for themselves and their children. Judy expects the event will have raised $3,500 in support of the fund. Joining Judy (second from left) at the event are Anne Earle and Cabot and Christina Earle with their daughter Caroline.
