Eddie Cascella, son of Richard and Donna Cascella of Warwick and a sophomore at American University, appeared last week on a CNN town hall meeting with Washington Governor Jay Inslee, who is a Democratic candidate for president. Eddie, who is studying environmental science, was selected to ask a question of Inslee. He asked Inslee, “What can you say to someone from my generation about your commitment to national sustainable energy models while nationally we rely so much on fossil fuels coal and oil? What can you change to be more environmentally friendly? Inslee cited some environmentally friendly policies he advanced in Washington and said that he considers climate change a legitimate concern and would back programs to curb climate change.
