Flo St. Jean (left), who became one of the first woman directors of a Boys Club in the country in 1982 when named director of the Warwick club, was inducted into the Warwick Boys and Girls Clubs Hall of Fame at the club’s annual $10,000 cash raffle held April 7 at the Warwick Country Club. St. Jean went on to hold positions in the national organization before making a shift in her career to her love of music. She teaches at Rhode Island College. Club director Lara D’Antuono congratulates her. Below, D’Antuono is joined by club board member Dan Scanlon Jr. and Mayor Scott Avedisian during the live auction portion of the program. Avedisian played the role of auctioneer, commanding high bids for a dinner hosted by Lara and a sundry list of prizes. (Warwick Beacon photos)
