Hundreds turned out last Wednesday night for the fundraiser to benefit Senate Majority Leader Michael McCaffrey of Warwick held at the Crowne Plaza. Those attending included a number of state and city elected officials from both sides of the political aisle as well as lobbyists, municipal and state employees, union leaders and friends. McCaffrey said proceeds from the event had not been tallied as of Monday; however, it is certain to boost his campaign war chest that was $201,838 as of the latest report to the State Board of Elections. Here, the senator and his wife, Deirdre, welcome Sarah Bratko of Warwick. (Warwick Beacon photo)
