Did you spot any red noses May 23? Maybe it was good for a laugh and surely that was the purpose for the red noses available for purchase at Walgreens and other locations participating in “Red Nose Day” to raise awareness and funds to help children who are living in poverty. The mission of the sponsoring group that includes Walgreens, NBC and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is to bring people together to laugh and have fun, all while raising life-changing cash for the children that need it the most. Since its debut in 2015, Red Nose Day has raised over $150 million and has positively impacted over 16 million children in America and around the world. Sporting a red nose for the cause is Russ Pedro of Kerry’s Warwick Photo Lab on Warwick Avenue. (Warwick Beacon photo)
