The Pilgrim Senior Center held their first ever Veterans Lunch on the Friday prior to Veterans Day, with free food served to all veterans. More than a dozen veterans from various branches of service and conflicts attended, including Korean War veteran Bob Dessaint, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, pictured with his girlfriend Barbara Lancia. Harry Wilcox, pictured in an Air Force hat, achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, and worked as an engineer on many military planes during his 11-year career – including planes that transported the president of the United States. He is pictured with his wife, Joyce. (Warwick Beacon photos)
