Making rounds at State House

To compliment their social studies unit on Rhode Island history, fourth graders from Saint Rose of Lima School recently visited the State House. The students were given a tour, learned facts about both the state and the capital building itself, and were allowed to conduct a mock session in the House Chambers on whether there should be year-round schooling or not. And how did they vote? 15-9 in favor of year-round. (Submitted photo)
