Congratulations proud members of Toll Gate. This project is something to reflect back on for the rest of your lives. You will be able to tell your children, and your children's children about it. When you do, remember to give credit to the teachers who molded you into the leaders you are now becoming. Without them you wouldn't succeed nearly as much.

    Happy Summer everyone.

Toll Gate students, don't listen to the make-believe mayor.

You should thank your parents, who persisted through two years of work-to-rule and PR stunts by the teachers' union -- which the make-believe mayor blindly supported the entire time -- to ensure that you completed high school, not because of these factors but in spite of them.

    Dear CrickeeRaven,

I never "blindly" supported the teachers. Please stop lying.

I watched and listened to the lies the School Committee (SC) were telling; the court action Warwick had to go through to get The Ragosta Report published; the hiring of a PR company to (unsuccessfully) improve the SC's reputation; the broken promise that the teachers would receive their back-pay 4 days before Christmas and the dozens of times that the Warwick Teachers Union agreed to sit at a bargaining table when the SC refused. When all that "junk" (I cleaned up the word I was going to use), hit the fan I made the same opinion that the vast majority of taxpayers made. The teachers had the moral high ground and the SC belonged under it.

Now, to say that these good students should not thank their parents is as much a farce as you are. You don't even have the credibility to use your own name. Of course they should thank their parents but their education was part-parent and part-teacher. The above article deals with the teacher part. That's why I focused on the teachers, but you already knew that, didn't you.

Fake news. Fake sources. Fake people. Fake names. The most fake name? "CrickeeRaven".

    Happy Summer students.

    Happy Summer everyone.

    Get a life CrickeeRaven.

Once again the make-believe mayor refuses to restrain himself from proving other commenters' points, in this case by presenting his highly biased and one-sided version of events around the recent teachers contract.

He does not mention the sick-outs, court cases, pickets, attempts at rewriting state contract law through the General Assembly, and flip-flops on which version of the contract offer the WTU would accept that actually happened over the last two years; he ignores the 25 meetings between the union, the school committee, and former Mayor Avedisian that were confirmed by mediator Vincent Ragosta, including the final meeting in City Hall that resulted in a signed contract.

He also proves how delusional he is by making such pathetic statements as "The teachers had the moral high ground and the SC belonged under it."

This must have sounded quite witty in the make-believe mayor's head before he typed it. Unfortunately, it only proves how desperately he clings to the fake narrative that he created, like the following:

"The above article deals with the teacher part."

No, the article above does not mention teachers at all. Here is the entire text of the photo caption so the make-believe mayor can see it again: "With the help of volunteers from the junior class, the Toll Gate senior class have painted the steps between the high school and Warwick Area Career and Technical Center to read “TG Pride.” The project was completed on May 31."

There is not one word about teachers. Not one. But the make-believe mayor already knew that and still attempted to use this comment board for more union-pandering statements.

"Fake news. Fake sources. Fake people. Fake names."

It is true that the make-believe mayor has a long history of constructing fake stories, using fake sources, that include fake people -- like the union members who he falsely claims never met with the school committee 25 times -- and using the fake name of a position in the city that he will never, ever hold.

"Get a life," writes the make-believe mayor, who has shown no ability or willingness to do anything other than repeat lies on this website and attack other commenters who use screen names as allowed by the actual owners of it.

    "Please stop lying," he writes.

Yes, the make-believe mayor should stop lying to the honest, taxpaying voters of Warwick -- and to himself, when he tells himself that he has any chance of being elected.
