With the 1960s as the theme for this year’s Academic Decathlon, graphics arts students at the Warwick Area Career and Technical Center had plenty to choose from in designing t-shirts for the state competition held Sunday at the Knight Campus of CCRI. Two designs were chosen for the shirt that was given to each of the 150 contestants. Elizabeth Virian picked a VW bus and a drive-in movie theater to capture the decade, while Cameron Jackson went for the yin and yang and flower power. A senior, he is planning to attend CCRI after graduation. (Warwick Beacon photo)
