It was too wet for many of the classic cars to show up for the Warwick Lions Club “trunk and treat” event Saturday at the Oakland Beach Commons. The plan was to have treats dispersed from the trunks of the cars that frequent the cruise nights run by the club on Tuesday nights. Also, the occasion was to spotlight the outstanding cars of the season. But while the rain cut into attendance, its didn’t dampen the spirits of those attending.
