Residents around Warwick Pond may or may not know of the merriest house in the neighborhood, even though it very well could be visible from an airplane on a cold, clear December night. The man behind the impressive light display at 11 Lakecrest Circle is Fred Moussally. He started setting up the elaborate displays – which he also does for Halloween – as a way to bond with his son. This year’s Christmas display encompasses three different “lanes” for interested onlookers to walk through, including Candy Cane Lane and the Island of Misfit Toys from Rudolph. On top of spreading seasonal cheer, there is a collections box for anyone so inclined to donate, and all proceeds go to benefit the Warwick Animal Shelter. Last year, Moussally said he raised $250. The display is a mix of purchased items and do-it-yourself construction projects.
