Shawn T. LaPlante, 42, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017.
He was a loving son of Donna L. (Covill) LaPlante and the late Armand J. LaPlante, Sr. Shawn was a talented baseball and hockey player. He was a member of many local youth teams, and the Warwick Veterans Memorial High School Baseball and Hockey Teams. Shawn was an avid New England sports fan.
He was the brother of Armand J. LaPlante, Jr. and his wife, Jessica; and uncle of Ashley Cerrito. Shawn is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He leaves behind his loyal dog, Rocky.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. with a service to follow at 7 p.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick.
