Susan E. (Fleming) Knight, RN, 58, died Friday, February 9, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Dennis Knight.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Fleming and Anne (Gumbley) Fleming-Fogell and the step-daughter of Harold Fogell. Susan had been a resident of Warwick for most of her life. She received her nursing degree from CCRI School of Nursing, and worked as an Emergency Room Nurse at Kent Hospital for 15 years. She later worked with the Visiting Nurses Association through Kent Hospital and Roger Williams Hospital, as well as, private home care.
She was the beloved mother of Thomas Rosa, Frank Rosa, and James Rosa, step-mother of Trina Grabbert, and Christopher Knight. She also leaves her beloved granddaughters Lily Howard, Hayden Rosa, as well as, her step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Thomas R. Fleming, Joan E. Germain, and Jennifer E. Boulet. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave., Warwick. Visiting hours respectfully omitted.
