Titled Financial Fitness: Money Management for Millennials, the half-day Saturday event is open to young adults across the state and will feature a series of workshops to help attendees gain the skills needed to set and manage a budget, start investing, and learn how to finance that next big purchase. The event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Equity National Title, 317 Iron Horse Way in Providence. The cost to attend is $10 per person with all proceeds benefiting UWRI’s adult education programs. Registration is available online, and a snow date of Saturday, Feb. 10 has been set.
The event will include an opening panel discussion and keynote, before attendees break out to participate in one of three 45-minute specialty workshops.
