Walter E. Beauchamp Jr., 54, died Monday, December 16, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Dawn M. (Zinno) Beauchamp.
Born in Providence, he was the son of Dorothy (Recchia) Beauchamp and the late Walter E. Beauchamp Sr. Walter had been employed as a press operator at Admiral Packaging in Providence for 35 years. He was a coach with the Apponaug Girls Softball League for many years. He also loved to play softball and corn hole and was a member of the Warwick Freedom Softball League and various corn hole leagues.
He was the devoted father of Walter E. Beauchamp III and Jenna M. Beauchamp. He also leaves two brothers, William Beauchamp and David Beauchamp.
His funeral service will be held Friday, December 20 at 10 a.m. in Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Because Walter was a huge Patriots fan, relatives and friends are invited to wear Patriots gear to his visitation Thursday, December 19 from 4-8 p.m.
