Tenth Annual West Bay Open Studios Event

Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21, 2018

11am to 5pm

West Bay, RI – During the weekend of October 20-21, 2018, 20 artists residing in the West Bay of Rhode Island will open their studios to the public in their tenth annual West Bay Open Studios Tour. Enjoy this free, self-guided tour, from 11 am to 5 pm, as you meander through the neighboring coastal towns of East Greenwich, Warwick, and North Kingstown.

This once a year opportunity gives art lovers and collectors the perfect venue to shop for fine art, jewelry and crafts. The artists will welcome the public in their studios and talk about their art and creative processes. The wide array of art that will be for sale includes oil paintings, printmaking, pastel, watercolor, calligraphy, sculpture, pottery, photography, jewelry, stained glass, fused glass, wood turning, and mixed media.

Artists exhibiting in Warwick include: Anthony Tomaselli, Sharon D. Eisman and Carol Shelton. East Greenwich artists are: Marjorie Ball, Alice Benvie Gebhart (Heritage Art Gallery), Nancy Gaucher-Thomas, Nancy Nielsen, and Jane Rollins (Scribe). In North Kingstown, the artists are: Cindy Horovitz Wilson, Donato Beauchaine, Debbie Ferrazzoli, Susan Kelley Scotti (Kelley Kreations Pottery), Mark Knapp, Sheila Newquist, Karen Murtha, Susan Klas Wright, Linda King, Nina Ackmann and Vanessa Piche. The studio of Tiffany Adams is in Exeter.

The group has a Facebook page, where current information about the artists and the upcoming event is shared with the public. Printed brochures with maps, are also available at the local businesses that sponsor this event and in the art studios during the event.
