Willard M. “Bill” Miner, age 76, of Warwick, died on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Kent Hospital. He was the husband of S. Lynn (Phillips) Miner.

Born in North Weissport, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Willard H. and Pearl L. (Snyder) Miner, he lived in Warwick for 49 years. A United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War era, he was a member of William Shields Post #43 American Legion and the Sampson Air Force Base Veterans Association, RI Regional Squadron. Mr. Miner was employed at the former Hoechst-Celanese Chemical in Coventry for 30 years, retiring as an environmental coordinator. He was later employed by the Environmental Protection Agency and NORAD.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Craig P. Miner and his wife, Elaine, of Wilmington, Mass.; two grandchildren, Griffin Paul Miner and Anya Elaine Miner; a sister, Donna L. Piasczyk of Chepachet; and a nephew, John W. Piasczyk of Foster.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 11 a.m., in Trinity Episcopal Church, 139 Ocean Avenue, Cranston.
