Winona M. "Winnie" (Knight) Marzilli, 95, formerly of Warwick passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Briarcliffe Manor Nursing Home in Johnston, RI. She was predeceased by her former husband Ralph Marzilli in 1984.

Born in Scituate, RI, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Harriet (Chute) Knight. Winona had strong values of the generation that she was born into. She took great pride in her appearance, never leaving the house without make up, jewelry or hair done. Even in her elderly years, she was known to be fashionable and in style. Some of the greatest memories come from raising her children. She always had a warm welcoming personality, whose five-star cooking skills filled the house with mouth-watering aromas of home-cooked meals. Many of the children's friends remember coming over to have a slice of her famous homemade pizza. She took great pleasure in entertaining and cooking for her guests; furthermore there were many times, her delicious red sauce (aka gravy) and meatballs would make their way down to East Matunuck Beach for family and friends to enjoy with a full day of playing in the sand.

She is survived by four daughters: Carol A. Reid (husband, John Jr.) of Warwick, RI, Linda D. Flanagan (partner, Bob) of Warwick, RI, Gail M. Razza (husband, Luca) of Exeter, RI and Debra J. Sarno of Warwick, RI; eight grandchildren: Keith T. Stevens, Jamison Plautz, Dawn M. Haley, Nicole L. Flanagan, Alivia J. Valcourt, Leigh-Ann Razza, Lindsay J. Sarno and Aron B. Sarno; seven great-grandchildren and several extended family members. She is predeceased by three siblings: Lawrence Knight, Elsie Rintala and Ellis Knight.
