Zumbathon Fitness-Party Event to Benefit Warwick's Homeless Animals

Join certified Zumba® Instructor Roberta Preziosi to relieve holiday stress, burn calories, and do something good for yourself and Warwick’s homeless animals! A Zumbathon Fitness-Party™ sizzles with Latin rhythms including Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Reggaeton in an exhilarating atmosphere that offers camaraderie, fun, and fitness.

Zumbathon will be held at Pilgrim Enrichment Center, 27 Pilgrim Parkway, Warwick RI on December 20, 2013. Registration is at 5:45 PM and the 90 minute class starts promptly at 6:15 PM. Participants must be 18 years of age or older to attend.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the Warwick Animal Shelter during regular hours or at Pilgrim Enrichment Center on Monday evenings between 5:45 - 7:10 PM or on Tuesday mornings between 8:40 - 10 AM.

Bring water and a towel: wear comfortable lightweight clothing because you will sweat and dance the night away. Hearing protection is optional as the music will be loud.

Apparel from Zumba® and Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter will be available for sale.

Contact Roberta at shelterfundraiser@cox.net to make other arrangements to purchase tickets or for more information. For updates and possible weather related cancellations, visit

Proceeds benefit Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter, a nonprofit humane organization that assists the homeless animals at the Warwick Animal Shelter.
