Chester C. “Chet” Anonuevo, 43, of Magnolia Street, Cranston, died June 2, 2009 at RI Hospital in Providence. Born in Stockton, Calif., he settled in North Kingstown 42 years ago and had resided in Cranston for the past 15 years. He was a son of Luz (Compas) Anonuevo of Cranston and the late Rey Anonuevo. He was employed by R.E. Michel Co. Inc. for the past five years. Chet was always surrounded by many family and friends and loved to make everyone laugh. Chet was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. He loved salt and fresh water fishing and loved all New England sports. He will forever be loved and missed by numerous relatives and friends. Besides his mother he is survived by five sisters, Nattie Demesa, Soly Rodriguez, Vicky Gigi Tiu, Christina Giorgianni and Miki-Marie Bouthillette; and two brothers, Ric Anonuevo and James Lou Anonuevo. His funeral was held June 6 from Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, Elmwood Ave., Cranston.
