The Howley Bread Group, a franchise of Panera Bread, recently recognized employees for excellence and leadership in the third quarter of 2009.

At a leadership meeting in East Hartford, CT a number of local employees were honored. Becky Johnson, of Smithfield, earned the honor of “Baker of the Quarter” for “consistently producing a great bake, being easy to work with and forming a strong relationship with the retail team at the Cranston bakery-café.” Juan Alcedo, of the Cranston store, Jordan Russillo of East Greenwich, and Matt Delorto, of Warwick, were all named “Associates of the Quarter,” for their respective bakery-cafés.
