Celebrate the holidays with the staff, residents and families of Cortland Place on Dec. 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Greenville. All events are free and open to the public, courtesy of Norman Audino Sr. and Norm Audino Jr., co-owners of the facility, which provides independent and assisted living, Alzheimer’s and dementia care and rehabilitation and skilled nursing care.

The Cortland Place Holiday Open House will feature a gourmet holiday food and dessert buffet, prepared by Cortland’s Chef Marc and his staff. There will also be caroling provided by Rhode Island’s Merry Dickens Carolers, who will be dressed in period costume. Holiday face painting will be available for children and adults with Smithfield’s At Home Designz, and Vini Ames will provide entertainment. Children will have the chance to visit with Santa Claus as well.

“From our family to yours, we hope everyone can stop by and help our residents enjoy the holiday festivities. We truly love the holiday season at Cortland Place – and this is our chance to celebrate and welcome the community to visit with us,” said Norm Audino Jr. “This is an event from our family to all of your family.”

So proper planning for seating and food can be made, Cortland Place is requesting RSVPs by calling 949-3880 with the number of people attending. Free parking will be available and a shuttle service will be provided for those in the overflow parking area across the street.
