The community is invited to join BankNewport and OceanPoint Insurance Agency this holiday season in showing support for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank in their efforts to provide food for local families in need.

Through Monday, Jan. 4 all BankNewport and OceanPoint Insurance Agency offices will be collection locations for community donations of non-perishable food items that are most needed at the Food Bank, including canned meats, soups, fruits and vegetables, along with rice, cereals, peanut butter, beans and whole wheat pasta. Food donations will be accepted at all BankNewport branch locations in Newport, Bristol and South Counties, and at the following four OceanPoint Insurance Agency offices: 272 Valley Road in Middletown, 26 Bosworth Street in Barrington, 5 Ferry Wharf in Jamestown and 3384 Post Road in Warwick.
