Alice Jayne (Medeiros) Gonsalves, 79, a retired employee for Beltone passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Arnold F. “Chico” Gonsalves for 30 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Margaret (Davis) Medeiros. Jayne was the loving mother of Bryan M. Souza and his companion, Jennifer and Heather J. Souza, loving grandmother of Raymond Ellinwood, Bryan Souza, and Darrien Souza, loving great grandmother of Kylie Ellinwood and Darrien, Dante, and Elijah Souza and sister of the late Robert Medeiros. Jayne is also survived by her beloved dog, Ella. Jayne loved spending time with her family and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Her visitation was held Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 10-11am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane, Warwick. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
