Arancia Physical Therapy

Earnestly seeking motivated and growth-oriented Physical Therapist

Pelvic health is an often-overlooked aspect of women’s health that has been given renewed attention by Dr. Jessica Papa of Arancia Physical Therapy in Cranston.  Dr. Jess (as she is affectionately known by her patients) is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has worked extensively with women of all ages who have pelvic health concerns surrounding pregnancy, trauma, bladder issues, and chronic pain. She is an expert when it comes to pelvic floor assessment and treatment.

It has always been Dr. Jess’s guiding philosophy that the female body should be celebrated at every stage of life, from childbirth to one’s “twilight years.”  She has dedicated her life and her professional career to helping women take ownership over their bodies and to find the resources they need to live healthy, happy, and pain-free lives.

As part of this mission, Dr. Jess has published two books: in 2019, Dr. Jess published her first book, Conquering Mystery Pain, which recently became an Amazon Best Seller!  In May of 2022, not long after she became a mother herself, her second book, Postpartum is Forever: A Pelvic Health Specialists Guide to Optimize and Heal your Body Before, During and After Pregnancy, hit the Amazon “shelves.”

In Postpartum is Forever, Dr. Jess explores these timeless and relevant topics/issues: How to prepare your body for pregnancy, what to expect from your health care practitioners if you present pelvic pain, the latest information about your pelvic health, everything you need to know about Postpartum Health and how to optimize healing, and finally, exercises and solutions from home. Head to Amazon today for both of these life-changing books.

If you know someone in your life who is pregnant or experiencing any postpartum symptoms related to urinary incontinence, bladder pain, constipation, low back pain, painful intercourse or many other pelvic floor dysfunctions, the team at Arancia Physical Therapy can help you.

The work that Dr. Jess performs at her growing practice every day is important and empowering work.  Today, the practice is actively seeking to further grow their team by adding additional positions to include a full or part-time, “highly motivated physical therapist who wants to put their talents, time, and energy toward patients instead of paperwork, to be part of a winning team that sees lasting results!”  This is a team of hard-working “A-players” who are committed to “normalizing outstanding, quality care,” and who value “growth, learning, and mentorship.”  Those who apply will receive intensive training and mentorship in this non-traditional setting.  Please contact the office if you see yourself in this “people-first”, “patient-second” work environment.

Men and women alike come to see the specialists at Arancia PT for the treatment and abatement of chronic pain as well as for pelvic health care ~ all are welcome.
