The Warwick Beacon’s Athlete of the Week is Warwick Vets’ cross country runner Kingston Bayha. The eighth grader put on a show last weekend at the Rhode Island Interscholastic League Middle School Cross Country State Championships in Smithfield, taking first place overall with a time of 10:01:09 which also led the Hurricanes to a top-10 finish as a team.
