Barbara A. (Eccleston) Richards, 76, a retired employee for Marriott and Residence Inn in Warwick, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick. Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late Elwood E. and Sophie W. (Champion) Eccleston. Barbara was the beloved mother of Terri Mitchell (Kevin), Daniel Richards (Paul Rossi), and Dave Richards (Kara); loving grandmother of George Wilkinson (Kimberly), Brian Wilkinson, Amanda McCleery (Niel), Brooklyn Mitchell, Kevin Richards (Katie), and Sharon Greenlaw (Nathanial); loving great-grandmother of Declan, Camden, McKenzie, Wyatt, Everett; sister of Eleanor Scott, Bette Baxter, Sharon Bayha, and the late Lois Crandall. She was the great-grandmother of the late Kinsley McCleery, and aunt of the late Andrew Brennan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Barbara loved spending time with her family and grandchildren; she also loved to knit, crochet, read, sew, going to the beach, and was an avid Red Sox fan.
