“Celebrate the past, paint the future,” is the theme of the golden anniversary celebration of the Warwick Center for the Arts golden anniversary celebration this Saturday, Sept. 20 from 5 to 8 p.m.
The event includes live music by the Extraordinary Rendition Band [ERB], food and drinks, a silent auction of original art works and special moments honoring Harvey Zimmerman and Sharon D. Eisman who were dedicated stewards of the center will be at the center patio or indoors if the weather isn’t cooperative.
Proceeds from the event will be used for art classroom renovations and help build momentum at a time when arts institutions are facing funding cuts nationwide.
“Join us for an unforgettable evening honoring 50 years of creativity, community, and connection at the Warwick Center for the Arts! This garden party-style benefit is more than a celebration—it’s a launch pad for the next 50 years of access to the arts in Rhode Island,” according to the center website invitation.
Ticket options at $50 to celebrate solo, $80 for a couple and $100 for the party and a one-year WCFA membership and are available on the center’s website or at the door.
