Debra J. McGovern, 63, died Monday, December 12, 2022. She was the wife of the late John E. McGovern and the companion of William Ferrara. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George E. and Mabel (Cartwright) Bloomingburgh. She is survived by her daughter Jessica L. Bechtel and husband, Tyler Bechtel and step son, John McGovern; grandchildren, Amanda Sellers, Brandon McGovern, Aalyiah Simas, Nathaniel Simas, Cullen Bechtel, and Christopher Perreault. She was also the sister of Judith Haslam, George Bloomingburgh, Kenneth Bloomingburgh, Bertha Cornell, Sanda Condon, Robert Bloomingburgh, Sheila Reed, the late Thomas Bloomingbugh and David Bloomingburgh.
A celebration of life will be celebrated Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 1-5pm at Chelo’s Restaurant, Post Rd., Warwick.
