Johnston Police Patrolmen Michael Protano and Christopher Rotella were honored recently and formally recognized with Community Service Awards for performing above and beyond the call of duty during the recent arrest of a wanted suspect.
Johnston police extended “thanks to Bishop Femi Owoyemi and the entire congregation of Kingdom Lighthouse Church, for hosting the ceremony and recognizing the outstanding commitment of both officers,” in a statement on the department’s Facebook page.
