Daniel P. Grzebien Sr. 70, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 23, 2023. He was the loving husband of Maureen (Jarvis) Grzebien, they had been married for 47 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Zygmund and Madeline (Janusz) Grzebien.
Daniel worked as an Electrical Engineer for A.I.S. for many years before his retirement, He was a 3rd Degree Knight with the Kennedy Council, of the Knights of Columbus.
An avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, Dan also enjoyed shooting at various ranges in the state.
Besides his wife Maureen, he is survived by his sons, Daniel P. Grzebien Jr. and his wife Shelina, and Joseph Z. Grzebien and his wife Jennifer. He was the adoring grandfather of Malley, Callum, Eleanor, Isla, Atlas, and London Grzebien. He was the brother of Jonathan Grzebien, and the late David Grzebien.
His funeral will be held on Friday September 29, 2023, at 8:45 a.m. from the Barrett and Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rose and Clement Church, 111 Long Street Warwick. Visitation will be held Thursday 4 to 7 p. m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Cemetery, Warwick.
