Marcia L. Mulholland 82, passed peacefully after a long family vigil on Friday, June 10, 2022. She was married to the love of her life, the late Joseph J. Mulholland for 42 years. Together they worked at The Camera Case, a family business in Garden City. She was born in Providence and was the daughter of the late Margaret Burton. Marcia was best known for her sense of style and her quick wit. She was always beautifully dressed and enjoyed wearing pieces curated by her son James. She also loved traveling and traveled extensively in Europe with her daughter Kristen. Marcia’s greatest joy was being surrounded by family. She loved living with her son Todd, daughter in law Holly and their sons. Marcia was a big advocate in the adoption of her daughter Kimberly and son in law James’ daughter Sadie. She leaves behind her four children James E. Mulholland (Brian Egli), Kimberly M. Hughes (James), Todd J. Mulholland (Holly), and Kristen M. Mulholland (MaryBeth Tobin); devoted grandmother of Thomas and Ethan Mulholland and Sadie Hughes.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11am in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel 2435 Warwick Avenue Warwick. Burial in the RI Veteran’s Cemetery Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Scandinavian Home Skilled Nursing Unit, 1811 Broad Street Cranston, RI 02905 will be appreciated.
