Michelle Marie Morris, a longtime employee for the United States Postal Service, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, surrounded by those closest to her. She was 53 years of age. Born in Providence, she was the fifth of six children born to the late Leo A. and Marie Michelle (Furio) Morris.

Michelle’s family remembers her as a very caring and kind individual that was blessed with a deep faith.  Her family was the most important thing to her, and she spent a great deal of time doting on and building close relationships with all of them.  She was particularly close to her niece Rachel Hazelwood, who cared for Michelle throughout her illness.  Michelle loved the Lord with all her heart and will be missed tremendously by those who knew her and loved her.

She was the much-loved sister of Leah Hazelwood, Leo Morris, Jr. (wife, Debra), Kim Howarth (husband, Mark), Vincent Morris (partner, Kevin) and Marie DeLoreto (husband, Steven); cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.  She was the sister-in-law of the late William Hazelwood.  She also leaves behind her best friends Jennifer Bertrand, Chip Baldwin, and Nicole Bertrand. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire and bless the lives she’s touched. Though she may be gone from our midst, her spirit of love and devotion will forever remain in our hearts.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 1, 2024, from 4-7pm with a Memorial Service at 7pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
