NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF WARWICK
SUBDIVISION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REVIEW REGULATIONS
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held at the City Hall Annex, (Sawtooth Building) Community Room (ground floor) located at 65 Centerville Road, Warwick, RI, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 beginning at 6:00 P.M., at which time, a vote will be taken. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider, and the Planning Board may vote on proposed amendments to the Warwick Subdivision and Land Development Review Regulations (the “Regulations”).
These amendments are intended to make minor modifications including corrections, deletion of redundant language and additions of a citation to governing statutes, specifically to Article XI. Administration of Regulations and Amendments Section 11.01 Planning Board (b.) Powers of the Board (i) Dedication and Reservation of Open Space (c) Fees-in Lieu of Land Dedication, and (iii) Restricted accounts.
Opportunity shall be given to all persons interested to be heard upon the matter of the proposed amendments. The proposed amendments are under consideration and may be adopted and/or altered or amended prior to the close of the public hearing without further advertising, as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the public hearing. Any alteration or amendment must be presented for comment in the course of the public hearing. The proposed amendments are available for review at the Planning Department’s Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays and on the City’s website at www.warwickri.gov.
All persons interested in the above are respectfully requested to be present at the time and place to be heard thereon. For any questions or to review the proposed Regulations, please contact the Planning Department at 738-2009. Individuals requesting interpreter service for the hearing impaired must notify the office of the City Clerk at 738-2006, 72 hours in advance of the hearing date.
