On Friday, Dec. 22, the public’s invited to an event at The Last Resort in Smithfield for a fundraiser that will benefit the tri-town animal shelter in North Providence (which serves Johnston, Smithfield and North Providence). From 7-8 p.m., the event will feature a complimentary buffet. Music will be provided, from 8 p.m. to midnight, by The Rewind Party (Lance Mantia). Admission will be free if you bring a new item for the shelter from their wish list (see attached photo).
