TRESPASS

At 7:06 p.m., Jan. 30, Cranston Police Officers arrested Courtney DeJesus, 35, of 115 Main Ave, Warwick, for Willful Trespass as the result of her turning herself in based on a previous Cranston PD warrant. DeJesus was arraigned and released.


SEX OFFENDER ADDRESS CHANGE

At 11:34 a.m., Jan. 29, Cranston Police Officers arrested Louie Claudio, 42, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston for Sex Offender Address Change. Arrest was the result of a pickup on a Cranston Police arrest warrant. Claudio awaited arraignment pending arrival of the Justice of the Peace.

At 10:10 a.m., Jan. 27, Cranston Police Officers arrested Wally Rutledge, 38 of 69 Ortoleva Drive, Providence, for Sexual Offender Address Change as a result of a warrant pick-up. Rutledge was transferred to 3rd District Court.


POSSESSION

At 1:45 a.m., Jan. 29, Cranston Police Officers arrested Leon Barbosa Oritz, 23, of 330 Union Ave Apt. #3, Providence, for possession of schedule II drugs. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Webster Avenue and Hillwood Street. Oritz was awaiting arraignment.


NO-CONTACT VIOLATION

Cranston Police arrested Peterson Gabriel, 32, of 158 West Street, West Warwick, for violation of NCO (3rd offense) and obstructing an officer in execution of his duty. The arrest followed the investigation of a suspicious vehicle parked at 85 Garfield Ave., near the police station’s rear impound lot. No arrest time or date was given by police. Gabriel was awaiting arraignment as a violator.

At 3:32 a.m., Jan. 28, Cranston Police Officers arrested Astaria S. Currie, 20, of 7 Harbour Terrace, Apt 11, Cranston, for violation of an NCO as a result of a disturbance call at 100 Elena St. Currie was awaiting arraignment as a violator

At 10:10 a.m., Jan. 27, Cranston Police Officers arrested Alexandria McClain, 32 of 47 Sassafras St., for violation of a No Contact Order as a result of a disturbance call at 443 Dyer Ave. McClain was awaiting arraignment, according to police.


SHOPLIFTING

At 3:30 p.m., Jan. 28, Cranston Police Officers arrested Yhakeen Gains, 22, of no permanent address, Providence, for Shoplifting, as the result of a shoplifting call at Walmart, 1776 Plainfield Pike. Gains was arraigned and transported to the ACI as a bail violator.


RECKLESS ELUDING

At 5 p.m., Jan. 28, Cranston Police Officers arrested Giovanni Depina, 22, of 275 Dora St, Pawtucket, for Reckless Eluding as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Woodbine Street. Depina was arraigned and transported to the ACI as a bail violator.


DUI CRASH

At 5:49 p.m., Jan. 28, Cranston Police Officers arrested Luis Carlos Jimenez, 36, of 5727 Yucatan Drive, Orlando, Florida, for DUI (BAC unknown), as the result of a motor vehicle crash investigation on Park Avenue. Jimenez was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.


DISORDERLY CONDUCT

At 8:01 a.m., Jan. 28, Cranston Police Officers arrested Filiberto Lopez, 43 of 23 Chestnut Hill Ave., for Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 203 Laurens St. Lopez was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.


DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT

At 3:32 a.m., Jan. 28, Cranston Police Officers arrested Jacob Palazzo, 23, of 100 Elena St., Apt 904, Cranston, for domestic simple assault (2nd offense) and violation of an NCO as a result of a disturbance call at 100 Elena St. Palazzo was awaiting arraignment as a violator, according to police.

At 8:34 p.m., Jan. 27, Cranston Police Officers arrested James Jackson Williams, 24, of 18 Loreto St. # 2R Providence, for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of disturbance in the area of 392 Laurel Hill Ave. Williams was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

At 5:53 p.m., Jan. 24, Cranston Police Officers arrested Devin Silva, 22, of 40 Byron St, Cranston, for Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Domestic Simple Assault as a result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. Silva was arraigned and released by Justice of the Peace

At 6:01 p.m., Jan. 24, Cranston Police Officers arrested Markea Smith, 29, of 40 Byron St., Cranston, for Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Domestic Simple Assault as a result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. Smith was arraigned by Justice of the Peace and transported to Men’s Intake as a Probation Violator, according to police.


VANDALISM

At 8:22 a.m., Jan. 27, Cranston Police Officers arrested Andrae T. Fullen, 23, of 27 Wollaston Street #2, Cranston, for Vandalism as a result of a vandalism report at 10 Monument St. Fullen was transferred to 3rd District Court.


DUI

At 5:16 a.m., Jan. 27, Cranston Police Officers arrested Michael L. Hall, 25, of 32 Public St., East Providence, for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. The arrest was the result of a well-being check on a motorist passed out behind the wheel at Pontiac and Myrtle Avenues. Hall was awaiting arraignment, according to police.


DUTY TO STOP

At 2:58 p.m., Jan. 26 Cranston Police Officers arrested Susan Natalizia, 65, of 56 Julia St., Cranston, for Duty to Stop-Accident with Attended Vehicle. The arrest was the result of motor vehicle crash in the area of 540 Reservoir Ave. Natalizia was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.


COUTERFEITING

At 6:11 p.m., Jan. 26, Cranston Police Officers arrested Mario Benabe, 65, of 1357 Washington Ave., Bronx, New York, for Passing of Counterfeit Cert/Note/Bill and Obtaining Money/Goods under False Pretenses. The arrest was the result of an investigation stemming from TD Bank, 178 Phenix Ave. Benabe was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.


STOLEN VEHICLE PARTS

At 7:59 p.m., Jan. 26, Cranston Police Officers arrested Krystyna Delaney, 34, of 83 Terrace Ave., Providence, for Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle/Parts and Possession of Schedule I-V under 10 grams. The arrest was the result of motor vehicle Stop in the area of 905 Cranston St. Delaney was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.


SEXUAL ASSAULT

At 12:55 p.m., Jan. 24, SVU Detectives arrested Jose E. Fondeur Arias, 51, of Hillwood St., Cranston, for one count of 1st degree Sexual Assault and one count of 2nd degree Assault as a result of investigation and issuance of a Cranston Police Department affidavit and arrest warrant. He was held for arraignment, according to police.


WARRANT

At 12:14 a.m., Jan. 26, Cranston Police Officers arrested Yovanny D. Rodriguez, 29 of 108 Mitchell St. #2, Providence, for a Superior Court Bench Warrant as a result of the suspect turning himself in at HQ. Rodriguez was transferred to Superior Court.

At 3:02 p.m., Jan. 26, Cranston Police Officers arrested Fernando Jiminez, 42, of 168 Laurens St., Cranston, for an outstanding 6th District Family Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 38 Harris Ave. Jiminez was transported to ACI Intake.

At 4:54 p.m. on Jan. 23, Cranston Police arrested John Fargnoli, 52, of 9 Farwell St., Cranston, on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant as the result of a disturbance call at 9 Farwell St. Fargnoli was transported to the ACI.

At 10:37 p.m. on Jan. 22, Cranston Police arrested Bethany Ann Mackenzie, 35, of 892 Atwells Ave., Providence, on an Arrest and Affidavit Warrant for Shoplifting. The result of the arrest was from the Johnston Police Department turning the arrestee over. Mackenzie was held for arraignment.

At 1:19 a.m. on Jan. 23, Cranston Police arrested Elmer Tejada, 22, 419 Beech St., Apt. 2, Roslindale, MA, on a Superior Court Warrant. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop at Pontiac Avenue and Fordson Avenue. Tejada was transported over to ACI Intake.

At 12:45 p.m. on Jan. 20, Cranston Police arrested Rene Junior Correa, 41, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on a Superior Court Bench Warrant as a result of the suspect coming into headquarters for sex offender registration. Correa was transferred to Superior Court.

At 3:58 p.m. on Jan. 20, Cranston Police arrested Jose Diaz, 46, of 415 Friendship St., Providence, on charges of Shoplifting, Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty, a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant and a Superior Court Bench Warrant. The arrest was the result of a call for service at Stop and Shop on Garfield Avenue. Diaz was arraigned and transported to ACI Intake as a bail violator.

At 2:13 a.m. on Jan. 20, Cranston Police arrested Octavius Littlejohn, 24, of 156 Franklin Ave., Cranston, on two Superior Court Full Bench Warrants. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street at Niantic Avenue. Littlejohn was transported to the ACI. 

At 3:25 a.m. on Jan. 17, Cranston Police arrested Matthew Cunha, 34, of 26 Hemlock Ave., Cranston, on an Arrest Warrant charging him with Sexual Assault (first degree), Domestic Kidnapping, Domestic Assault by Strangulation, Domestic Simple Assault, Domestic Vandalism and Domestic Refuse/Relinquish Telephone. Cunha awaited arraignment.

At 12:23 p.m. on Jan. 9, Cranston Police arrested Alexander J. Fasteson, 27, of 44 Balcom Road, Foster, on a Cranston Police Arrest Warrant for Violation of a Protection Order as a result of a warrant pick-up. Fasteson was transferred to Third District Court for arraignment.

At 11:06 p.m. on Jan. 9, Cranston Police arrested Jamari Bell, 19, of 286 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, on a Cranston Police Arrest Warrant for Vandalism (two counts) as a result of the suspect turning himself in at headquarters. Bell was transferred to Third District Court for arraignment.
