Play On! by Rick Abbott follows a community theatre as it desperately attempts to produce a new murder mystery, Murder Most Foul. With only four days until opening night, the cast is struggling to learn their lines and the set isn’t dressed. Most maddening of all, however, is the constant interference from the playwright, who continues to add new lines and scenes. As opening night nears, the cast and crew of Murder Most Foul attempt to surmount every mishap to put on a patron-pleasing hit.
This hilarious comedy features the talents of Heather Carey, Ryan Foster, Christopher Margadonna, Matthew Moos, Paul Nolette, Molly Sheehan, Laura Steele, Daechelle Strange, Eve Marie Webster, and Bethany Whitehead.
Directed by Greg Geer, Play On! is a lighthearted, madcap love letter to the highs and lows of community theater. If you’re up for an evening of merriment, mark your calendars with the following performance dates: July 8-10 and 15-17 at Jenks Auditorium, 350 Division St, Pawtucket.
