FROM STAFF REPORTS The Toll Gate girls basketball team continued to impress this winter season when it topped Mount St. Charles 41-39 to improve to 7-0.
Bri Simono led the Titans with 20 points scored while Adeline Areson added 16.
Pilgrim 68, Times2 14
The Pilgrim girls basketball team soared past Times2 in the lopsided win. Maddy McQueeney led Pilgrim with 15 points, while Hayden Henry scored 14 and Faith Meade 12. Arianna Keebler and Haylee Marcotte each scored 10 points in the win. It was Pilgrim’s first win of the season. Boys Hockey
East Greenwich 3, Hendricken 2
The Hawks were beat by the Avengers in a third period comeback last Friday evening.
Hendricken’s Griffin Crain would score in the second period to knot things at 1-1 heading into the third. Haiden Corrente scored early in the third to give the Hawks the edge, but EG would get a pair of late goals to wrap up the win.
