Mr. Baker, Rocky Point has been quiet for 20 years, where have you been? Rocky Point has potential, but let’s get rid of parking lots? Do you really believe that if a food truck or concession comes in that people will become complete slobs, and picnickers won’t? There are plenty of other places in Rhode Island along the water where you can enjoy the birds and the fog.
Attention Warwick residents, especially Warwick Neckers! Rocky Point was not purchased by ALL the residents of Rhode Island simply to improve local property values or to become a private park for the select few who happen to live nearby. Events WILL be held there again, prepare for them.
If there are ghosts at Rocky Point, it’s because they came for the clam cakes, chowder, and rides, then stayed.
