I wish the Beacon would spend as much time scrutinizing the Mayor and the city as they do the school dept. Avedisian has given away the store year after year running up a $600 million unfunded healthcare and pension obligation and it gets little or no coverage in the Beacon.

The 3 city council blowhards aka Ladosceur, Travis and Wilkinson do nothing about the $3 million structural deficit in the city budget. The 3 suck-ups voted for the new fire contract that Scottie negotiated that has increased taxpayers obligations in the millions.

Are you happy with your sewer bills? The WArwick Sewer Authority is in debt to the tune of $108 million. Remember Scottie appoints the board. I can only imagine what Scottie would do with the school board. I understand RIPTA is improving under his leadership....what a joke.
