How anyone can think this Thornton guy is coming here to do good things is totally delusional! This city's schools department is in a total mess. Let's not even get started on the elevator and heating system at Vets. Have not heard about that in awhile huh?? As a parent I am actually scared for next year and seriously considering putting my child in private school. His PR guy is making way too much money for a bunch of "No comments" in the media lately. Who is running this district? I guess it's the elected school committee that needs to wake up and do something. Why hasn't the special education director resigned yet??? Stop wasting money on lawyers and PR and DO YOUR JOB school committee!!!!
