I read your comment, Mr. "The Captain." I looked back through, and I have no idea who is a teacher, parent, student, senior citizen, council member, or space alien, for that matter. For all I know, you are Phil Thornton.

I guess to me it doesn't matter. What matters is the truth of what is going on in our community, and I think it is pretty clear that there is a lot more to the claims about the conduct of the school administration here than just smoke.

The stuff being said about Ruscito is verifiable.

The special ed department stuff is also verifiable too.

Thornton being a district hopper- public record.

Parents being angry and concerned about what is happening in the school district- also verifiable.

Not much time for the schools to be gotten ready for the fall- that's obvious.

No one seems to be able to answer questions-not a good sign.

I'm sure I'm missing quite a few things here, but the point is truth is truth. Things are a mess, and the school administration is being paid to be in charge. An organized administration would have no problem putting this to bed. They could provide the detailed plans that are in place, and show all that people's fears are unfounded, or motivated by self-interest.

In other words, they would fight back with "truth on their side." They have all the power to spread the "real" story- they have their automated phone messaging system, they can call public meetings, they can use the public relations company they are paying to spread the "real" information.

They have the authority and power to set everyone straight. The fact that they aren't and haven't done this tells me all I need to know.
