Well 90% of Rhode Islanders I speak to think Gun control measures will NOT stop CRIMINALS from either getting a deadly weapon to commit crimes,or stop senseless MURDERS. They know the real issue is ISLAMIC TERRORISTS and MENTAL DISTURBED persons who are able to gain ILLEGAL access to weapons. Adam Lanza the Sandy hook shooter KILLED HIS MOTHER and STOLE her weapon Then proceeded to commit his heinous atrocity because he was schizophrenic and autistic and MENTALLY ILL. It is now being found that the ORLANDO SHOOTER Was reported to Police from the gun shops in the immediate area about their concerns about his intentions and they were IGNORED!

NONE of the proposed limitations will protect ANYBODY From gun violence. They will just put a BAND AID on an arterial wound. But most of all they will only deny the rights of LAW ABIDING citizens from their constitutional rights. CRIMINALS on the other hand won't even consider these measures a speed bump.
