I knew and deeply respected the late Senator Mike Lenihan. He had the greatest reputation with the R.I. Board of Ethics. His only fault, not loving loud rock-and-roll music, can be excused when you recall the many hours he dedicated to ethics in government. Mike was one of our greatest legislators and his reputation for total ethics will be remembered forever.
He set the standard for all in public office.
Rest in Peace Michael. You made Rhode Island a better place for everyone.
