All your comment shows, Thecaptain, is that you believe that disagreeing with the mayor somehow represents an actual political platform.

Those public meetings you've presumably attended have only served to narrow your perspective, so I don't really see the point in attacking other people who you assume haven't. I'll keep my wider view of the world, thank you.

You write: "It is completely evident throughout the city everywhere you look," yet it seems so evident to only you, who refuse to look beyond the end of your nose for fear that it might actually cast the mayor in a good light.

But by all means, continue to believe that you're somehow in the enlightened minority who knows so much more than the rest of us. You're bound to have as much success unseating Scott Avedisian as you have up until now.
