The average voter had nothing to do with Romney’s loss. Romney lost because the Republican governors of Virginia, Florida, Ohio and Wisconsin did not get out the Evangelical vote and Chris Christie threw Romney under the bus while praising Obama during hurricane Sandy. In the last months, Romney was short of money because Gingrich and Santorum forced Romney to spend too much money in the primaries. Many Evangelicals did not vote for Romney because many Evangelical leaders felt that Mormonism was a cult. This was an unconstitutional act. Romney would have kept a large number of troops in Iraq, would have prevented the establishment of ISIS, and would have established a no fly zone in Syria. Hundreds of thousands of lives would have been saved in the Middle East. Romney would have worked to bring Republicans and Democrats together. Today’s candidates will assure that Gridlock in Washington will continue.
