Dear "CrickeeRaven",

You are wrong again; in fact twice this time!

1. No "real court" has decided on the teachers employment contract; just on the issue of layoffs.

2. As far as the contracts, members of the teachers union (past and present) have met with me on many occasions and they have told me on many occasions that they are willing to sit and negotiate with the School Committee about a new contract (not layoffs) and the SC is unwilling to do the same. I have also spoken with various members of the SC on many occasions in great detail, and asked why they were "unwilling to meet with the teachers". To this day they have not given me a reason.

The "Court-of-Public-Opinion" that I refer to are the hundreds of people that I have discussed this issue with. I don't think they would appreciate you calling them an "imaginary jury". I don't either. You may or may not believe me but I have yet to meet one parent, taxpayer, voter etc. that sides with the SC. Are you in favor of them? You could be the first to do so. The only "imaginary thing" in all of this is YOU! You hide in anonymity under a fake name, state comments that are clearly false, and degrade me for trying to make changes for the better by calling me "Dick", which no one but you has ever done, and I believe no one but you wants to read. Vulgar name calling is a tool of the truly ignorant.

Why don't you come out and let everyone know who you are? Why don't you propose a better idea than the ones you constantly condemn me for? If you can think of a better plan I will endorse it and give you all the credit for it, but so far all you do is complain. Why don't you let me introduce you to the many members of what you think is an "imaginary jury" . I know they would love to meet you! A few even say they know you.

One more thing: If the teachers are playing games with right-to-work, as you say they are, how come I keep commenting/praising (and you keep condemning me for) all of the "Honor Role students? Who taught them?!
