Dear CrickeeRaven,

Thank you for the complements.

I have spoken to hundreds of taxpayers, voters, parents and students about the teachers contract issue. Virtually ALL OF THEM are in support of the teachers. That is why I say (repeatedly) "in the Court of Public Opinion". I'm referring to the 80,000 taxpayers that are paying, since 2009, OVER A BILLION TAX DOLLARS. I can't believe that you feel that the court of law is the "only court that matters". 80,000 taxpayers would have exception to that in addition to me.

As you know I am devoted to the taxpayer. It is sad to see you disagree with me on that. Who do you think I represent when I say "Cut Taxes - Cut Spending"? It's not the current Mayor, I promise.

You, CrickeeRaven, are a unique individual. It is making it easier to identify you. I believe I have it narrowed down to one of 2 people but if anyone reading this knows, for sure, who CrickeeRaven is, please call me at 338-9900. Once we identify him/her he/she can't hide in anonymity and will be forced to defend his/her statements like rest of us do. Then, finally, we will all be on a level playing field that's fair to all. Wouldn't that show respect to the readers?

I think so.
