Personally I could care less if someone is begging for money.

You can be a big boy and girl and just tell them no or ignore them and not roll down your window at an intersection.

The government doesn't need to be the solution of every problem.

I would much rather buy them something to eat and drink so they're not wasting the money on booze, drugs, gambling or hookers.

Half of these people probably just got out of jail and they have the problem of no one wants to hire a homeless ex-con and you can't get back on your feet to being a productive member of society without someone willing to give you a chance.
