In this instance it is not about the money. First off, the school dept gave a take all or leave all offer in an attempt to get rid of wording that limits class size and the amount of special needs students in each class. This would give them a blank check on class size and the students would lose out. Negotiating in public is not a healthy way to get this solved. If you are a concerned citizen/taxpayer you should email the school dept and ask how much of your tax money has been spent on this new law firm and PR company hired to stall negotiations and spin their one sided tale. I am sure you will not like the answer.
